Isaiah MacKenzie, Graphics Editor
Isaiah MacKenzie is a graphics editor for the 2025-2026 school year. It’s MacKenzie’s first year on the staff, but his second year with the DGS Journalism program, due to being a club member. He’s a stage crew chief for props under DGS Drama and an active member of Spanish Club, Honor Roll and National Arts Honors Society.
MacKenzie has always been passionate about communicating through art, believing it to be an amazing universal language.
He’s won awards through the likes of IJEA and was a part of the sectional journalism team for advertisement last year. MacKenzie was also recognized by NIPSA for his outstanding opinions graphic found in the April 2025 cycle of the Blueprint newspaper. He hopes to continue this success in the future, along with the morals he holds dear to his heart.
