Liam Wells

Liam Wells, Managing Editor

Junior Liam Wells is in his first year on the Blueprint Staff as the Managing Editor.
He is currently part of the DGS band program and competed in the Illinois Superstate Concert Band Festival his sophomore year. Along with his studies in music, Wells is also involved in the Class of 2026 Leadership Board and student council.

Wells’ journalism career started halfway through his freshman year when he discovered the Blueprint Club. At the end of his sophomore year, he finished his 19th article and was awarded the “Most Published” Blueprint Club award. Wells hopes to further his writing and journalism skills with his involvement as a member of the Blueprint staff.

When not at school Wells is often found listening to and making music. Wells has spent numerous hours singing, writing, and producing songs with his two best friends. Together they hope to create a full-length album in the near future.

Besides music, Wells is highly conscious of his health and fitness, he considers it as a main priority in his daily routine. Wells consistently works out at his local gym and enjoys swimming every once in a while. Additionally, for the past two summers, Wells has worked at Cypress Cove Family Aquatic Center as a Swim Instructor and he is now a lifeguard.
