Junior Elsa Kramer is a Sports Editor for her first year on the Blueprint staff. Other than journalism, Kramer is in stage crew, and coaches a varsity Downers Grove Panthers cheerleading squad. She also won the Select 58 award in eighth grade.

Kramer’s journalism journey started young, when she realized her passion towards reading and writing. Her parents taught her to read as early as three years old. That passion continued into high school, when she took an Intro to Journalism class her sophomore year.

In her spare time, Kramer reads and enjoys movies, especially horror. Along with reading and writing, she enjoys films and musicals, one of which includes West Side Story. She hopes to gain writing experience from Blueprint to further pursue a career in literature.
