Jillian Oberle, Copy Editor
Junior Jillian Oberle is a Copy Editor for the DGS Blueprint. This is her first year on the Blueprint staff, yet she has always had a strong passion for reading and writing. This passion influenced her to explore journalism.
Oberle is involved in varsity badminton and flag football at DGS, and she has experience playing basketball for the school. Oberle works as a peer tutor in the literacy center and is a member of Key Club, junior class board and student council. She is also a member of the 4.0 and above honor roll.
In her free time, Oberle loves to read, listen to music, bake and watch TV. Oberle especially appreciates spending time with her family and friends; she also babysits or petsits when she can. She values her religion and attends church regularly on Sundays.
Oberle enjoys volunteering and participating in mission trips through her church. During one mission trip, she obtained real-world experience caring for children facing difficult living situations in Nashville, Tennessee. After graduating from high school, Oberle plans to attend a four-year college and major in education.
