From peppermint mochas to gingerbread lattes, Dunkin’ is always coming out with a fresh lineup of drinks and donuts to celebrate the holidays. The season of love is here and Dunkin’ has delivered with their new 2026 Valentine’s Day menu, available from Jan. 28 until Feb. 17. While the two new donuts were spectacular, “love” is not a word I would use to describe their seven new drinks.
The first drink I ordered was a small Toxic Ex-Presso Cloud Latte for $5.49, and it was indeed toxic at first sip. The drink contains raspberry and chocolate syrups, and while this drink was far from the worst I tried, the raspberry flavor is extremely overpowering. However, the pleasant aftertaste allows me to rate this drink a six and a half out of ten.
The next drink I tried was the small Chocolate Covered Strawberry Daydream Refresher for $5.62. This drink contains strawberry dragonfruit, oatmilk and chocolate cold foam; if there was an award for a drink flavor most similar to that of strawberry medicine, this drink would win. If you’ve ever had Penicillin then you have already come close to trying this drink, which I rate a five out of ten.
I had a slightly better experience when I ordered a small Heart Eyes Daydream Refresher for $5.62, a drink with fruity flavors, oat milk and chocolate cold foam. Despite the drink’s pretty appearance, the flavors were still overpowering. I rate this drink a six out of ten.
The next drink I tried was the small The Perfect Matcha for $5.69, and I struggle to describe in words just how far from perfect this drink was. I gagged at the first sip after tasting a flavor that I can only describe as cake batter mixed with spoiled milk. It was far too sweet and practically unfit for human consumption, so I rate this drink a two out of ten.
On a positive note, things began to look up when I tried the small Blush Spritz Refresher for $4.79. This tangy drink is made of only strawberry dragon fruit refresher and sparkling water. Clearly simplicity pays off, the drink was refreshing and I would give it an eight out of ten.
Dunkin’ impressed once more with their small Buff Chai which I purchased for $5.68. The blend of chai tea and protein milk worked surprisingly well. The chai flavor came through nicely so I rate this drink an eight point five out of ten.
Finally, I tried the small Sweet On You Cloud Latte for $5.49, which is made with coconut and caramel flavors and sweet cold foam. As a coffee lover, I did enjoy this drink more than most of the others, but I can confirm that coconut does not belong anywhere near my latte. I rate this drink a seven out of ten.
While most of the drinks were very disappointing, Dunkin’s new Valentine’s Donuts, which can be bought for $1.69 each, are definitely worth the purchase.
A fan favorite, the Brownie Batter donut has chocolate frosting, sprinkles and a brownie filling. If you appreciate chocolate, you would love this donut, which I rate a nine out of ten.
Dunkin’ also offers the Cupid’s Choice donut with strawberry frosting, sprinkles and a cream filling. If you are a fan of the Boston Kreme or strawberry flavors, then this is the donut for you. It was absolutely amazing and I rate it a ten out of ten.
