Claire Valenti, Sports Editor
Senior Claire Valenti is a Sports Editor for Blueprint, and this is her first year on the Blueprint staff. Valenti was a freelance writer during the 2020-2021 school year and had two articles, one podcast and one documentary published to Blueprint. Both the documentary and the podcast have been awarded a Best of SNO and the podcast won an honorable mention in NISPA in the multimedia package event.
In her free time, Valenti loves watching hockey games and player interviews. After high school she wants to go to college to pursue journalism in hopes of being a hockey journalist. Valenti’s favorite team is the Chicago Blackhawks, and she’s been cheering for them as long as she can remember.
Valenti also writes poetry when she isn’t watching hockey.
