Gwendolynne Royle, Opinions Editor
Junior Gwendolynne Royle is an opinions editor for her first year on the Blueprint staff. When she is not writing in journalism, she is a speech competitor, a singer in the DGS Choirs and an active member of the Masque and Gavel club. She is also an honor roll student, a member of the International Thespian Society and the National Speech and Debate Association.
Royle spends a lot of time expanding upon her activism and believes it is imperative to listen to young voices. She applied for a grant gifting solar panels to schools and was awarded them. She also can be seen at many rallies throughout the year.
Royle is a makeup crew chair in the drama department at DGS and is also involved in local community theaters. She teaches dance in a theater workshop and loves to share her passion of theater with children expanding their abilities. Royle hopes to study English and Communications in college with a minor in theater.
