Teagan Smith, Features Editor

Teagan Smith is a senior at DGS and has been on the Blueprint staff for two years. Smith is currently in her fourth year as a varsity cheerleader at DGS. She is also involved in NHS, peer leaders, is a Mad Dash director, Operation Snowball director and on the executive board for student council.

Next year Smith plans on going to college to study engineering. She enjoys math, science and problem solving.
Outside of school Smith enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

She loves going to concerts and music festivals as well as traveling with her family.

“For the past year, I’ve had to be very cautious about who I allow myself to see because a few months ago my Poppa was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. I go to his house multiple times a week to care for him and spend time with him, so I want to make sure I am as safe as possible. Having a small social bubble and taking necessary precautions are all worth it if it means keeping him safe,” junior Emily Poska said.
