Q: What inspired you to start your music career?
A: I just kind of started it as a joke in middle school, and then I started actually learning instruments and it was a lot of fun. I’ve been doing it ever since.

Q: Can you elaborate on your passion for music?
A: It’s something that keeps me going, and I just like to [make music] a lot. It gives me a creative outlet.

Q: Where do you hope to take your music career?
A: It would be fun to make money off of it somehow, like teaching other people how to make music or becoming a musician touring which would be a lot of fun. I’m just doing it for fun right now and we’ll see where it goes.

Q: How do you feel your music affects other people?
A: I hope people like it. I’ve released one single so far and it’s more of an aggressive song; it’s not really supposed to be positive but when the whole album is all done I feel like people might look at the song differently. It’s a conceptual album.

Q: Can you tell us a little bit about your album?
A: I’ve been working on it since sophomore year on and off, it’s been a lot of work. [Sunlight] is more towards the beginning. It’s all about confidence and then the slow decay of how I’ve been feeling.
