Grace Lube, Editor-in-Chief
Senior Grace Lube is thrilled to be an Editor-in-Chief in her second year on the DGS Blueprint. She began her junior year as a sports editor, where she was first introduced to journalism. Since then, her interest has been sparked and a new hobby formed.
After she graduates from high school, she plans on attending a four-year college. She hopes to become a pediatric occupational therapist. Her experience volunteering at Easter Seals alongside children with disabilities began this interest.
During her free time, she loves to hang out with her friends and go shopping. You can also find her smiling face greeting you at the front desk of the Darien Sportsplex.
Lube loves to be involved and meet new people. She is a part of varsity soccer, athletes committed to excellence, Key club, super fans, DECA, literacy center leader/tutor, journalism club, P.E. leading, National Honors Society and National Spanish Honor Society.
During last year’s school year, Lube tracked an impressive resume during her time on the Blueprint. She received a Best of SNO on her 9/11 features article and placed fifth at sectionals in copy editing. She also received praise from IJEA for her social media coverage.
Lube is excited and ready to lead Blueprint to further success.
