Jake Hahn, Copy-Editor-In-Chief
Senior Jake Hahn is Copy-Editor-in-Chief for his final year of high school and first year in the Blueprint staff. At DGS, Hahn is a part of the school journalism team competing in the copy editing event and placing 5th in state in his junior year. He is a competent student with an affinity for courses related to English and is a member of NTHS (National Technical Honors Society).
Hahn is looking to have a career related to English and journalism, as he greatly enjoys copy editing and most forms of writing. He is considering applying to a multitude of colleges that support writing workshops and internships such as the University of Illinois in Chicago and the University of Missouri. He hopes that working for the DGS Blueprint will give him the experience he needs for a professional journalism career.
Outside DGS, Hahn engages in Dungeons and Dragons, an activity heavily reliant on creative storytelling and improvisation among friends. He currently works a job as a summer camp counselor and enjoys working with kids. He is a creative writing enthusiast and often spends free time creating stories and ideas to eventually show his friends in Dungeons and Dragons.
