Kora Montana, Online Co-Editor-in-Chief
Kora Montana is a Senior at DGS and one of the Online Editors-in-Chief for the Blueprint Newspaper. Montana was a freelance writer for the Blueprint during the 2016-2017 school year; this is her first year on staff.
In the IJEA 2017 Competition, Montana placed first place for a podcast entry and earned an Honorable Mention for a column she wrote.
Montana is also involved in Superfans and Art Club. After school, she is an assistant coach for a fifth grade cheer team; however, during her free time she loves to read and watch her all time favorite T.V show, “Friends.”
Next fall, Montana hopes to attend Depaul University in Chicago and major in Secondary Education. She plans to be a Social Studies teacher.
