Isabella Shin, Features Editor
Isabella Shin is a senior and a Features Editor for the Blueprint. Shin has always had a love for writing and has a background in journalistic, creative and oral expression type of writing. She hopes to publish a book within the next few years and either study or minor in creative writing.
Through her writers website, Behind The Writers Book , Shin preaches on increasing collaboration and offering one on one help to other creative writers in hopes of creating connections with others that share the same love and passion for writing.
Shin is a member of the varsity track and speech team. She is also involved in the Distinguished young women program and won first place overall in interview, finalist in fitness, self expression and overall.
After school she loves to volunteer at Good Samaritan Advocate Hospital and Kindred Hospice. Shin also volunteers for the Dupage Senior council, 7 Cups Counseling and is the social media ambassador for the Letters for Rose program.
Through Blueprint, and her first year being a part of the team, she hopes to create a space for the spotlight to be shown on people whose stories deserve to be known and shared for the community of DGS as well as the outside community as a whole.
