Kate Riley, Online Features Editor
Kate Riley is a senior at DGS and is the Online Features Editor in her first year on staff. Along with Blueprint she is a co-vice president of Masque and Gavel, where she has competed on the varsity speech team, acted as head of makeup crew and performed in several DGS productions. Additionally, Riley has been part of choir and Operation Snowball since she was a freshman.
In the future Riley hopes to attend either DePaul University, Marquette University or Loyola University with a degree in communications or international relations. In her spare time, she works at Peet’s Coffee and Tea, where she lives out her barista dreams. She loves to keep herself busy, which is why you will never see her without a coffee mug or Redbull in her hands.
When she is not at school or work, she loves to visit different coffee bars with friends, go to concerts and visit the movie theater. Her favorite artist is Hozier and her favorite movie is either “Captain America: the Winter Soldier” or “Booksmart.” While she is a very determined individual, her friends would also consider her to be quite optimistic and easygoing, which is apparent by the smile that never seems to leave her face.
