Carson Kass, Sports Editor
Senior Carson Kass is a Sports Editor for the DGS Blueprint. Kass is an honor roll student who is in charge of live broadcasts for DGS Esports and commentates for the DGS football team. Kass enjoys being the voice of many different programs in the school and beyond.
Kass’ interest in journalism sparked in his junior year when he took on broadcasting for the DGS Esports team. He became an IHSEA Student Broadcasting Intern and has worked for the state organization since, which has given him many opportunities.
Outside of school and entertainment, Kass prides himself on being a renaissance man, finding joy in learning as much as he can about the world. Some of his hobbies include watching sports, backpacking and reading. He hopes to broadcast beyond high school by attending Syracuse University’s Sports Broadcasting program.
