On Dec. 14, “Wonka” is now on the big screen in theaters.

On Dec. 14, “Wonka” a musical fantasy movie was projected for the first time in theaters. This is a heartwarming, sentimental but fun and friendly story about the upbringing of Willy Wonka and his chocolate factory. Some scenes will pull at your heartstrings and others will make you laugh uncontrollably.

Since its debut in November, the movie has remained in the top two and generated $145 million domestically and $300 million globally. “Wonka ” has also landed an “A-” CinemaScore and has earned itself 84% on rotten tomatoes.

This version is directed by Paul King and written by Simon Farnaby and Roald Dahl, as well as Paul King. Paul King is also famous for directing and writing the series of the “Paddington” movies. The production company that presents this film is Warner Bros.

Starring the beloved Timothée Chalamet as the third male actor to play Willy Wonka. Including a new up and coming actress Calah Lane playing the role of Noodle. This duo plays a key friendship in the film.

Other key actors and actresses are Hugh Grant, Sally Hawkins, Paterson Joseph, Matt Lucas, Mathew Baynton and Keegan-Michael Key.

The film’s plot is based around how Willy Wonka is determined to become a famous chocolate maker. We learn that he is so determined to make this happen because of his mom. She always made chocolate for him on his birthday and she quickly became ill which led to her passing away.

When Willy comes to the fictional city inspired by “the best of Europe,” he gets roped in with a living situation that is not very ideal. He comes to the city with some money but gives it away to the people he thought needed it more, so when he comes into this hotel he has no money in his pockets. The owners of the hotel say that he can pay them back with the contract he signs, but he doesn’t read the fine print.

Since he didn’t read the fine print, he gets stuck there because he owed more money than he thought he would owe. So he becomes a slave for these people and finds that four other people got warped into this tramp just like him. He becomes friends with the orphan Noodle and finds a way to make and sell chocolate as well as wash and clean at the hotel.

But there are some challenges that Willy faces with the villains Slugworth, Fickelgruber and Prodnose. These characters are also in the chocolate-making industry and they quickly become jealous of Willy and his chocolate, so they terrorize and threaten him. Eventually, they offer him and the people who were working for the hotel, including Noodle, money that would pay off their debts and send Willy out of town.

Soon when Willy is sent out of town he figures out that it was a trap and goes back to the city to complete his mission and save Noodle.

They finally put the villains in their place and Willy successfully makes his dreams come true, as well as Noodle’s.

Another addition to this story is the character Noodle who is known as an orphan. She didn’t know that she had parents or family because she grew up in the hotel. But what she and her mother didn’t know was that they were living in the same city as each other.

We find out that one of the villains, Slugworth, is her uncle who tricked the mom into thinking Noodle had died and sent Noodle away to the hotel, so he would have nothing to do with both of them. At the end of the film, Noodle finds her mom.

“Wonka” is a rollercoaster of emotions. One scene will make your heart melt and the other will make your heart race. So if you’re looking for an exciting movie to see with friends or family, I would 100% recommend this movie.
