Kira Matheson, Online Opinions Editor
Kira Matheson is a senior at DGS and is the Online Opinions Editor for the Blueprint. This is her first year on staff. At DGS Matheson is the president of Masque and Gavel and is a member of the varsity speech team, Mad Dash and the choral program.
After high school she would like to attend the University of Illinois or Marquette University. Matheson would like to major in either political science or English and hopefully go to law school in the future. In college she would like to participate in theatre in her spare time, if she has any.
When she isn’t at school, Matheson can be found either working at Yankee Candle or hanging out with her friends. She enjoys listening to bands like the Bad Suns and perusing the Glossier website at least once a week. As a self-proclaimed Netflix addict, she enjoys binging shows such as “Black Mirror” and “The Good Place.”
