Help! Call the doctor! I’m sick! Tell him I have chocolate fever.

Believe me, it is real and it is dangerous. There is no cure and I crave chocolate all day, everyday.

I guess it’s good that I created the perfect chocolate dessert that any sweet tooth will crave.

I combined delicious fudgy brownies, chewy chocolate chip cookies and my own secret ingredient to create what I like to call marbled brookies.

I know what you’re thinking: What? It can’t be true. It’s not possible. Oh, but I assure you, it is. These are the perfect dessert for any occasion, easy to make and will never disappoint.

Ingredients:

2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon cinnamon

1 cup & 5 tablespoons butter, melted (*my own added numbers)

¾ cup brown sugar, packed

¾ cup sugar

                                                                                              1 tablespoon vanilla

                                                                                             ½ teaspoon lemon juice

                                                                                              2 large eggs

A gigantic amount of chocolate chips

*you may also add ½ cup oats and 1 ½ cup walnuts if you please

*special ingredient:  teaspoon of cocoa powder and a tablespoon of milk

Directions:

  1. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and cocoa powder in a medium sized bowl and set it aside.
  2. Stir the melted butter, brown sugar and sugar together until smooth. Add in the lemon juice, vanilla and eggs, beating until smooth then pour in the flour mixture. The dough should not be lumpy.
  3. Pour in the milk and stir. Your dough should be a little runny but smooth.
  4. Go crazy with your chocolate chips.

Baking Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350℉.
  2. Grab a 9′ by 13′ pan and spray with non cooking spray (a lot).
  3. Pour the cookie dough into the pan first, spread it throughout the pan and repeat with the brownie batter.
  4. Take a fork and swirl the batter and dough until it looks like marble. Do not mix it too much, as the cookie will not be seen.
  5. Place in the oven and bake for 35 minutes, checking periodically to  make sure nothing has gone wrong. If the dessert still is not done, bake for an extra five minutes but no longer. Let it cool down for at least 20 minutes and vuola. It’s done and eat as much as you want.

Tip: eat with a scoopful of ice cream. Definitely worth the calories.
