Kevin Clyde Tate, Graphics Director
Kevin Clyde Tate is senior at DGS and is the Graphics Director in his first year on staff. In addition to Blueprint, Kevin is a member of the speech team, DGS Madrigal Singers and is a co-president of Masque and Gavel.
Last February, he won the IHSA Speech State Championship in Original Comedy, in his second year competing on the team. In addition to this, Tate is heavily involved with theatre in and outside of school with Music Makers Theatre Company.
Kevin hopes to attend either Pratt Institute, Pace University or Columbia College Chicago to major in communication design or graphic design. He rarely has free time, but when he does he uses it as an opportunity to watch his favorite shows: Mad Men and HBO’s Euphoria. Tate is also a thrift shopping aficionado, which requires a skill set that has been developed since his youth.
