Top ten Christmas songs
- “All I Want For Christmas Is You” – Michael Bublé
A classic Christmas love song that almost everybody knows. Maybe this is an unpopular opinion; however, Michael Bublé’s cover of “All I Want For Christmas Is You” is by far the best one (better than Mariah Carey… sorry about it). A mix of soft jazz and sultry vocals is a perfect mix for a Christmas bop.
- “Blue Christmas” – Elvis Presley
To be completely honest, Elvis Presley is the king of 60s pop. “Blue Christmas” is a melancholy, yet groovy, song that has its place at every Christmas party.
- “I’ll Be Home For Christmas (If Only In My Dreams)” – Frank Sinatra
“I’ll Be Home For Christmas” has a slower tempo and somber tones that never fails gets me in my feels.
- “Santa Tell Me” – Ariana Grande
I feel like a lot of pop stars make Christmas albums when they are doing horribly and then the Christmas album turns out just as bad; although, this does not ring true for Ariana’s song “Santa Tell Me”. This song gives Christmas a lovely splash of pop and romance.
- “Last Christmas” – Wham!
This song is for all the pop-punk and alternative fans out there. With slightly dejected lyrics paired with an upbeat tempo makes for a fabulous Christmas tune.
- “Jingle Bells” – Frank Sinatra
“Jingle Bells” is a timeless Christmas bop. Frank Sinatra’s smooth voice matched with one of the most classic songs of all time creates a simple and favorable masterpiece.
- “Jingle Bell Rock” – Bobby Helms
Yet another classic Christmas song, with its twist of rock and sleigh bells, “Jingle Bell Rock” never gets old.
- “Feliz Navidad” – José Feliciano
“Feliz Navidad” is an upbeat song with amazing instrumentals that brings any decorating party or cookie bake-off to the next level.
- “Cold December Night” – Michael Bublé
This is more of a pop song than a Christmas song, but Michael Bublé gives us another romantic holiday number.
- “Baby It’s Cold Outside” – Frank Sinatra
This song is creepy and it’s about a date rape. Thank u, next.
