Saara Raheja, Copy Editor
Sophomore Saara Raheja is a Copy Editor for the Blueprint staff. This is her first year as a staff member, but she has been a part of the publication since her freshman year. In addition to journalism, Raheja is a DECA state qualifier, black belt in taekwondo, member of the varsity speech team, the girls’ golf team, podcast host at Startuped AI and PSAC member.
Raheja has always been interested in writing. When she was little, she would take her diary with her everywhere and write stories about the world as she saw it; as she got older, her writing developed. Freshman year, she was enamored with the many aspects of journalism and was intrigued to explore it through the Advanced Journalism Class.
Outside of school, you can find Raheja spending time with friends and family, listening to music, baking and playing the piano. She enjoys having downtime to relax and focus on the little things that make life meaningful. She is excited to experience new things and hopes to enjoy every moment.
In the future, she aspires to grow as a writer and continue her journalism career throughout high school. She looks forward to attending a 4-year university on the east coast, hoping to keep writing and journalism in her life. She loves to learn and enjoys gaining new knowledge whenever she can.
