Local houses dazzle with Christmas light displays

This house on Mitchell Drive is covered in colorful lights that dance to the Christmas music heard on 89.9 FM radio. It also has a fully functioning toy carousel and a red mailbox dedicated to letters for Santa Clause. Swing by this house and mail a letter to the North Pole.

On Feb. 23, DGS held the annual spirit assembly where students from all grades and staff competed for the spirit jug. Small events during lunch periods where students could earn points for their grade led up to the large assembly that took place in the large gym. Seniors won the spirit jug after being in last place for most of the week.

The Halloween fun fair included the entire field house after it was moved inside full of tables for each club decorated in the same way the trunks of cars would have been decorated outside.
