The homecoming dance took place on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 7-10 p.m. Students danced to music in the fieldhouse, ate complimentary chips and Crumbl Cookies from the test kitchen and posed for photos in the STEAM wing. The dance was met with mixed opinions from DGS students.
Senior Sophie Ring was one of the students who attended the “Barbie” themed dance.
“I liked the set-up for homecoming and how they had the additional space outside of the fieldhouse for people to go if they didn’t want to be in the crowd. It was cute and pink and portrayed the theme very well. I just wished they opened the doors of the fieldhouse because it was very hot in there,” Ring said.
Senior Will Potter was also present at homecoming.
“It was really hot in the fieldhouse so I wished they kept the dance outside. Otherwise, I had a great time with my friends and overall the night was really fun,” Potter said.
