Biczek wants to stay organized in the rumored hardest year of high school.

Monika Biczek is a sophomore student athlete. She is on the swim team and she also plays soccer. Biczek spends most of her time managing school work alongside practices.

Q: What is it like trying to balance two sports and athletics?
A: It is pretty difficult because I get home pretty late and then there is a lot to do like homework and chores.

Q: What rumors have you heard about junior year?
A: [I heard] it’s really difficult and everyone thinks it’s the hardest year.

Q: What are you most excited for in the upcoming school year?
A: I’m excited to experience more AP classes and see if the rumors are true about the most difficult year and hopefully break that stereotype.

Q: What are you most nervous for in the upcoming school year?
A: I’m nervous about if it will be really hard because of what people say. [I’m nervous] for the testing like the SAT’s and college prep.

Q: How do you stay organized?
A: I have a planner and I write down all of my homework and I plan out what homework I will do on what day especially with the block schedule.
