Crumbl Cookies is a trendy cookie shop sure to cure any sweet tooth; it’s all the craze on TikTok. Most of the reviews of Crumbl are positive, but there are also a chunk of people who view it as overpriced and overhyped. Those that look at Crumbl in a negative manner obviously don’t appreciate a scrumptious cookie.

The nearest Crumbl Cookies is located at 2936 Showplace Dr in Naperville, Illinois.

Crumbl rotates their menu on a weekly basis to have four new cookies along with their original flavors, Sugar and Milk Chocolate Chip. Alongside the original flavors, the new cookies this week were Peanut Butter ft. Muddy Buddies and Midnight Mint.

Testing out the Peanut Butter ft. Muddy Buddies, Midnight Mint and both of the original flavors seemed like the way to go.

Even before ordering, it felt like cookie heaven. Walking in and getting overpowering whiffs of mainly chocolate and peanut butter was very pleasant. The shop was a bit chaotic with mixers running at maximum speeds and employees running around like headless chickens trying to make and box cookies.

To order, you can head to one of the two tablets located on the right side of the shop when you first walk in. You can click on the cookies you want and pay right then and there. After a wait of only about three minutes, one of the employees calls your name and proceeds to show you the cookies.

The cookies are packaged in Crumbl’s iconic beaming pink box that is a perfect fit for four cookies. The employee then asks if your order is correct and if the cookies meet your expectations. Crumbl is extremely concerned with presentation and customer satisfaction which is why they make sure that everyone’s cookies turn out the way they want, and if not, they rush to make better ones.

The first cookie in the box was the basic sugar cookie.

It was much like what was to be expected considering the cookie was crumbly and melted in your mouth. The cookie part itself didn’t really have much flavor; it just tasted bland. However, the frosting was a vibrant pink color that tasted like a mix between artificial strawberries and bubble gum, which was overpowering and made the cookie not that desirable.

Up next was the Peanut Butter ft. Muddy Buddies.

Right off the bat, the cookie smelled like a Reese’s peanut butter cup, hitting you with that pungent peanut butter smell. The cookie had the same sugar cookie base, topped with a peanut butter and chocolate spread, three Muddy Buddy puppy chow like treats and was served warm. Peanut butter and chocolate is a phenomenal combination and the addition of the Muddy Buddies on top made the cookie have a pleasant crunch.

The third cookie was Midnight Mint.

This was a superb cookie and it is definitely a mint lover’s dream, but it isn’t for those who aren’t necessarily fond of mint flavoring. The base of this cookie was chocolate and had a rough texture on the outside. Not only did this cookie use semi-sweet chocolate chips, all that was able to be tasted was the mint chips; the cookie was quite strong but in the most desirable way.

Lastly, the standard Milk Chocolate Chip.

This cookie did not smell like what it was named after and it had more of an oatmeal raisin aroma rather than chocolate chip. The cookie tasted much different from other generic chocolate chip cookies because you could really taste the quality of milk chocolate used, making the cookie really smooth. The large chunks of chocolate made it incredibly appealing to the eye, and the flavor profile was everything you could ever want from a warm and chewy chocolate chip cookie.

For many, Crumbl isn’t an everyday excursion. The total cost for the four cookies came out to be $14. You may think that this is a lot of money for just four cookies, but these cookies are enormous and obviously crafted with love; they are definitely worth every penny.
