Kayla Zietlow is a senior at DGS. Her love for animals is spread throughout her family that includes a bunny, a hamster, two cats, a ferret and a dog, just to name a few.

Q: What led to your love of animals?
A: Their friendliness and their cuteness. They make me happy because they give me attention. They keep me entertained because of how playful they are.

Q: Are there any animals you wish to have in the future
A: A Racoon. They are very cute, very friendly and seem very easy to take care of. A penguin. They are so lovable and seem like something nice to hug. You can take them to water parks, go on slip and slides. Fun stuff like that

Q: What’s the best memory you have with your pets
A: My bunny and I. We went in the car for 20 minutes and he sat on my lap. He went on my shoulder and I got a funny look from a lady. We were listening to five seconds of summer and having fun.

Q: What is the best thing about being so animal friendly
A: They are always entertained. In a cheesy way they are there for you. If I cry my cats and dog are there for me. They always have my back.

Q: Is there a specific reason why you like animals as much as you do
A: No. They just make me very happy and are super calming. The animals I have are easy to take care of and have big personalities.
