Clare Wisdom is a senior at Downers Grove South. She loves nature and is finding a way to incorporate her hobbies into her future plans after high school. She has multiple ideas on which field she wants to pursue and is planning on figuring out her biggest passion to follow.

Q: What school are you planning on attending in the fall?
A: University of Wisconsin eau Claire

Q: Was this college your first choice, or were there other options? How did you narrow it down?
A: I was between two schools. I narrowed it down by looking at the cost, how good the program was that they offered, and thinking about what most felt like home.

Q: What will you be majoring in this fall? What made you want to major in this?
A: I will be majoring in either communication sciences and disorders; this will allow me to become a speech pathologist. I was able to shadow someone in this career and I loved it. I also am considering majoring in elementary education, I have a huge passion for working with kids and this allows me to.

Q: What are your future plans after college?
A: I will most likely have to get my masters, so I would love to go to a school out west for that. My ultimate goal is to work in an elementary school and live close by the mountains.
