The school year is coming to an end and we all need a little bit of motivation to keep pushing.
As we return from our Thanksgiving break, let’s take a look at what’s ahead for the week of Nov. 26.
Monday: It’s a Snow Day. All after-school activities are canceled.
Tuesday: Welcome back from a six-day-long break. District 99 is hosting a District Board Membership Info Session from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. The meeting is aimed to inform community members on how the D99 schools are governed.
Wednesday: The United States Air Force will be visiting DGS to talk to students interested in joining. All students interested in coming to the meeting need to sign up on Naviance by 8:00 a.m.
Thursday: The Vision and Hearing Rescreening will take place in the auditorium. Students’ passes will be handed out by department secretaries on Wednesday.
Friday: Jostens will be delivering class rings in the cafeteria during lunch periods. Wear them to the boys’ basketball game against Proviso East at 7:30 p.m.
