Ky’m Young, Entertainment Editor
Senior Ky’m Young is an Entertainment Editor entering her first year on the Blueprint staff. After taking Journalistic Expression in her junior year, she decided to continue exploring journalism. Young freelanced her first article with the Blueprint that same year.
Young is the current Captain of the DGS Step Team and the Vice President of the Black Student Union as well as a member of Mustang Way. In the past she was a member of the Principal Student Advisory Council, was a Blue Crew leader for the class of 2028 freshman orientation and was a facilitator for the access choice group Honest Conversations.
Alongside her extracurricular activities, Young loves to read books and spend time with friends. She has a love for writing and intends on being an author in the future. She has plans of attending Spelman college when she graduates in the fall of 2025.
