Kari Alore, Adviser
Kari Alore loves Downers Grove South. In fact, her full 17 years of teaching have been spent right here at DGS. This school year she is excited to be teaching English II, English II Honors and Journalistic Expression and Media Literacy at DGS.
Alore has two children who she loves dearly but would like to sleep a bit better through the night. She loves a good book, guilty pleasure TV and podcasts. She had a little late introduction to journalism, only getting involved as a teacher, but she is passionate about South Blueprint and can’t wait to see what the 24-25 staff have to offer.
