Q: Last time you made a three-pointer…

A: “was at the 3-point sectional contest last year. My four teammates and I competed at the 3-point regional contest at Proviso West, and my teammate Addie and I both advanced to the 3-point sectional contest. I shot six out of 15 3-pointers, so that was the last time.”

Q: Last time you lost a game…

A: “I guess would be — I can’t remember the specific game, but — in a tournament for my travel team, like, early August. It was a close game the whole game, and then we lost it right at the end.”

Q: Last time you broke a bone…

A: “I have never broken a bone. I’ve fractured the left side of my left foot. It was in [my] sophomore year, and I’d just gotten into the game, and I was playing defense, and I tripped and rolled my ankle. So I went to the doctor the next morning, and it was a small fracture on the left side of my left foot and a sprained ankle. So the doctor put me in a boot.”

Q: Last time you wanted to quit a club…

A: “I guess I could say I wanted to quit being a Mustang Way leader because it was hard to be the only one in the group who did all the work, and [I] was the only one to be vulnerable and speak to the freshmen when the rest of the group counted on you to do everything.”

Q: Last time you wanted to yell at a freshman…

A: “Was today. They walk so slow in the hallway[s] and they don’t understand — they stop in the middle of the hallway and then everyone has to walk around. They don’t understand they have to move over to the side. They walk negative two miles in the hallway[s].”
