July 31- Aug. 3 will be the best four days of 2025 because it’s Lollapalooza baby. This will be my fourth year going to Lollapalooza, and I am hyped. So, I thought I should share my top predictions for this year’s 2025 Lollapalooza headliner lineup.
Olivia Rodrigo
Rodrigo is literally headlining at the 2025 Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Paris Lollapaloozas. It simply wouldn’t make sense if she doesn’t headline at the U.S. location. Rodrigo is also headlining at the OSHEAGA festival on Aug. 3., so she will be headlining on opening night-July. 31 because they tend to coordinate.
21 Savage
Even though 21 Savage is not going on tour for 2025, he still could be the rap headliner on July 31. He did perform at Lollapalooza in 2017 and in 2019. This one is up in the air but 2025 is an odd number year.
Justin Timberlake
Timberlake is performing at 11 different festivals in 2025, and out of those 11, he is playing at four Lollapaloozas around the world. His tour dates also match up for him to be open for six days so that he could possibly be one of the headliners on Aug. 1.
RÜFÜS DU SOL
RÜFÜS DU SOL will be the EDM headliner that performs at the Perry’s stage on Aug. 1. The group will be performing in Canada on Jul. 30 then the next scheduled performance will be in Indiana on Aug. 3. They also skip Chicago in their tour destinations but will pass through Chicago as they are traveling from Canada to Indiana.
Fall out Boy
In the beginning of 2025, the group has said that they are planning on performing at many festivals. Even though they are not performing at any international Lollapaloozas, it still would make sense for Fall out Boy to be one of the two rock headliners for this upcoming festival,l because their schedule is open during the four days of Lollapalooza. I am guessing that Friday, Aug. 1 will be the day that will have the extra headliner.
Doechii
There is always a girl rapper who headlines Lollapalooza, and who would be better than Grammy winner Doechii? Doechii is performing at OSHEAGA on Aug.1. so it would be a quick turn around with her headlining on Aug. 2. But OSHEAGA and Lollapalooza have been known to have some of the same headliners.
Avril Lavigne
Lavigne will be one of the four pop artists that will be headlining. She is headlining two festivals in 2025 and is going on tour, which ends in late June. Lavigne is also skipping Chicago on her tour. I am guessing she will be headlining on Aug. 2.
Gracie Abrams
Abrams is touring all over the world, she is even performing at Lollapalooza Berlin in early July then makes her way over to the US. She is playing at OSHEAGA 2025 on Aug 1., however, does not have her next tour date until Aug. 6 in California. Her tour dates are layed out to be a day or two apart from each concert; however, she has a five day break in between Lollapalooza dates so she will be headlining on Aug 3. and she skips Chicago – again who skips Chicago?
John Summit
Now this is a wild guess. Summit is headlining at Veld Music Festival in Toronto sometime during Aug. 1-3; however, I believe he will headline on Aug. 1. there, so he can headline on Aug. 3 here. I mean, Naperville is his hometown, he might as well end Lollapalooza with a bang.
