Monday, March 12: Monday will be a 9:20 a.m. late start. Classes will be shortened due to this arrival. Monday will also be the start of DGS’s “Respect Week”. The theme for Monday will be “Outstanding Outfit”.

Tuesday, March 13: The Illinois Youth Survey will be held on Tuesday, altering the schedule and bell times. The D99 orchestra concert will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at DGS. The “Respect Week” theme for Tuesday is “Rad Rainbow”.

Wednesday, March 14: There will be a school walkout starting at 10:00 a.m. and will last for 17 minutes in tribute to those who lost their lives in the Parkland shooting. The girls’ varsity badminton team will play Oak Park River Forest at 4:30 p.m. in the field house. The “Respect Week” theme for Wednesday will be “Crazy Sock Day”.

Thursday, March 15: There will be a Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee Meeting that will take place in the DGN alumni room from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The “Respect Week” theme for Thursday will be “No-Fear Neon”.

Friday, March 16: DGS’s annual Masque and Gavel talent show will be held in the auditorium from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Admission for this event is $5. DGS’s Join the Movement Club will be in lunch periods performing skits about anti-bullying and positive interaction within the student body. The “Respect Week” theme for Friday will be “Magnificent Mustang”.
