With Pizza Wars around the corner check out my favorite pizza places to prepare for the contest.

  1. Roundhead’s

After being kicked out of their location for the new Walgreens, Roundhead’s is now located at the corner of 75th and Fairview. Their pizza is super cheesy and if you get it well done it comes out fantastic.

      2.Tortorice’s

It is located at 63rd and Main Street. I don’t like it as much, but it won pizza wars last year so I guess I had to put it as number two.

      3.Dan’s

Dan’s is off of maple in Lisle. They are known for their crispy, thin-crust pizza.

     4.Beggars

On the corner of 63rd and Fairview Avenue, Beggars heavily throws on any topping of your choice to give you more filling slices.

     5.Aurelio’s

Right across from the Woodridge splash park. I hate Aurelio’s, but I guess some people like it due to the tasty tomato sauce.

     6.Lou Malnati’s

Far away, for the expensive cost you can have a buttery, doughy deep dish.

     7.Nonnie’s

Located about a block away from Lost Mountain mini golf, they have decent thin crust pizza, but their appetizers make up for the loss in the pizza.

     8.Buona Beef

Buona beef off of 75th Street is famous for their beef sandwiches. They also sell personal pizzas that are super cheesy with a thin crust.

     9.WoodGrain

Located by the Oberweis on Ogden, Woodgrain is cool because you can personalize your pizza, and have it come out the way you like so everyone can have their favorite.

     10.Pizano’s

For the original pizza fanatics, head down to N State Street to have a traditional Chicago pizza. Nothing better than a signature pizza from our hometown.
