Monday, Feb. 19: There will be no school in observance of President’s Day.

Tuesday, Feb. 20: Spirit week will kick off with pajama day. One Act Play auditions will take place in the little theater after school. The wind ensemble will also have a concert from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the large gym.

Wednesday, Feb. 21: Come to school in white for a winter wonderland white-out theme on the second day of spirit week. DGS will open its doors to the D99 community for presentation about the master facility plan proposal followed by a tour of the building from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 22: Day three of spirit week will have a USA theme. A dance showcase will be performed in the auditorium from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $5; the proceeds from the showcase will be put towards Lungevity.

Friday, Feb. 23: Students will wear their designated class colors for the last day of spirit week. The class colors are: white for freshman, gray for sophomores, columbia blue for juniors, navy blue for seniors and black for staff. A spirit week assembly will be held in the afternoon; an altered bell schedule will be used due to the assembly.
