On Feb. 2 Sabrina Carpenter went home from the Grammys with two awards. The two awards were titled “Best Pop Vocal Album” for “Short n’ Sweet” and Best Pop Solo Performance for the hit song “Espresso.”
In addition to her four other nominations and two wins, Carpenter also performed at the award show, singing both “Espresso” and “Please Please Please” from her most recent album.
To honor her first time as a grammy award winner and performer, Carpenter announced her “Short n’ Sweet (deluxe)” album release for Valentines day on Feb. 3 via Instagram.
In addition to the 12 original titles, the deluxe version features five new tracks: “15 Minutes,” “Please Please Please feat. Dolly Parton,” “Couldn’t Make It Any Harder,” “Busy Woman” and finally “Bad Reviews.”
Along with the announcement, fans were notified that they would be able to pre-order the album. On Carpenter’s official store, the vinyl-set can be purchased for $46, to be shipped on release day. Disc one of the set includes all 12 songs from the original album and the second disc features all of the new deluxe tracks.
The bonus tracks are not yet available for digital download so fans are more driven to purchase the physical album. Options include a bright, azure vinyl-set, an exclusive opaque, pearl set (also $46) and a bonus-track CD on a moonlight disk. The pre-order CD is $36 and features one of the new deluxe tracks.
Along with the announcement Carpenter has begun to release new art and photos to go with the deluxe version. In addition to more social media activity, Carpenter shared a Vogue photoshoot as well as a mini teaser video.
Carpenter continues to make waves and prove her growing influence through her album release and Grammys appearance. With her music, merchandise and engagement, Carpenters’ latest activities show her dedication to her craft and fans.
